ANOTHER AMAZING PLAYDECK FROM DALHAUS!
DalLastic outdoor rubber tiles and Polygrass have been installed in a second stunning primary school playdeck. This time it’s the turn of the Temple School in Manchester. Nearly 600m2 of DalLastic chunky tiles in colourways Molten (a dark red) and Surf (a vivid blue) plus nearly 300m2 of Polygrass were used by contractors K Pendlebury and Sons. The result is a fantastic, colourful play surface that is anti slip, safe and durable.
Dalhaus Floors in Cutty Sark Visitor Centre
Dalhaus rubber flooring has been specified extensively by Grimshaw Architects in the newly refurbished Cutty Sark Visitor Centre.
More than 400 square metres of Strata hammerblow relief in a special light blue, and over 200 square metres of DalRollo Satin smooth surface in Gull have been used in the project.
The 144 year old Cutty Sark, the last remaining tea clipper, was almost destroyed by fire in 2007. After 5 years and £50 million pounds, she opened to the public again in 2012 and remains one of London’s most enduring tourist attractions.
Fantastic new DalLastic playdeck at Stockbridge Primary
Architects 2020 Liverpool have just created a stunning exterior playdeck at Stockbridge Primary, using over 800 square metres of Dalhaus DalLastic Plus outdoor rubber tiles. Thick chunky DalLastic rubber is a creative alternative to stone, wood or ceramic. For a children's play area it has the added advantages of excellent slip resistance and softness underfoot. The palette of colours enabled the architect to come up with a playful, imaginative seaside colour scheme combining pale blue and yellow with vivid green DalLastic Polygrass.
